Autocity Penang It is not a surprised that Autocity Penang in Juru is mostly searched for its food and restaurants, though originally it was built to congregate all the automobiles or cars sellers. Think about it, how many times people are going to get a new car in year compares to how many times each person can dine in a year. I bet your answer is as good as mine. Thus, thanks to all these restaurants that are dotting Autocity Penang, they made the town attractive and lively!
During our last road trip from KL, we landed in a food factory outlet in Autocity Penang, which I heard on weekends, this is also the place they operate the night market or flea market. Being adventurous, we randomly picked an unfamiliar name - 23 Takehana. What to expect from the signboard touted, we knew immediately that this restaurant specializes in Japanese cuisine. To our delight, we found our long lost friend - garlic rice.
Autocity Penang Restaurant: Takehana
Like a typical Japanese restaurant, the environment is inviting, neat giving us a sense of belonging. Holding starving stomachs, we quickly made up our mind for lunch - a set of Han Chan ramen (RM18) and the rest were a-la-carte - garlic rice (RM6), gyoza (RM10), vegetable tempura and agedashi dofu (tofu - RM8).
