|Penang Japanese Restaurant | Sakae Sushi - Fresh, Delectable, Inexpensive|
|Tuesday, 30 August 2011 00:00|
My SO and I love Japanese cuisine. We had made countless visits to Sakae Sushi but always end up with same servings again. And again. It must either we love the same taste/food so much or the taste is scrumptious as always. Perhaps both are equally true.
So whether it is our first visit or 100th visit, the serving seldom varies. We never get bored of them.
Check out our standard menu at Sakae Sushi.
Sukiyaki - a flaming hot soup, cooked with chicken/beef vegetables, tofu, mushroom, fish cakes and egg. Perfect to warm a hungry stomach.
Grilled Teriyaki Salmon.
It is hard to take out salmon from my SO's food equation. This dish is his top favorite aside from deep fried vegetables and garlic rice. We miss their garlic rice a lot. We still do not have chance to find out why garlic rice was removed from their menu. The good news is I had discovered a home recipe for Japanese garlic rice. Enough to fulfill our craving.
Deep fried vegetables.
A platter of vegetables tempura, taste good with sweet sauce.
Some carbohydrate fix for us. Back to basic!
Service for little one? Yes, Sakae Sushi does provide a baby chair, precisely a booster seat (from Safety First) suitable for baby that can sit without assistance. They also remember that your little one needs to tuck in too. So check out some fun and interesting meals for kids on their menu.
